Yves Rogez is a research software engineer at the Institut de Planétologie et d’Astrophysique de Grenoble (IPAG), Université Grenoble Alpes, France. He joined the radar group at IPAG on CONSERT/Rosetta as a simulation and high-performance computing engineer. He was the operation engineer of CONSERT/Rosetta instrument in 2014 and 2015. He was designing and developing operational and scientific software tools, including the observation geometry system (Spice) and interfaces with space agencies (ESA, CNES, DLR). He has been involved in the definition of science observations definition and operation planning. Since 2015, during the Phase A/B and consolidation of Asteroid Impact Mission, he was the project manager of the High-Frequency Radar instrument and is involved in the coordination of the development of Low-Frequency Radar and High-Frequency Radar. As a software engineer, he develops the on-ground software processing toolkit and lead the data management projects for IPAG’s group for various radar instruments.
