Hera Project Scientist. Michael Kueppers is currently the Project Scientist of the European Space Agency’s Planetary Defense mission Hera. He is also coordinating the science operations studies for future ESA missions, and he is sentinel of the science faculty at ESA’s European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC). Roles: Advising and supporting the project interdisciplinary work and synergy, as well as its possible relevance for and link to the Hera mission and other small body space mission studies at ESA.
