Dr. Birgit Ritter is a research scientist at Reference Systems and Planetology department of the Royal Observatory of Belgium. She has worked as project manager for the AGEX Asteroid Geophysical Explorer (AGEX) lander selected by ESA. She has worked as an experimental scientist at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) in Kiruna, Sweden on the development of a subsystem for one of the plasma instruments on ESA’s JUICE mission. Previously, she has worked as a project and instrument scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne on a particle detector payload for the DLR satellite Eu:cropis.
