David Mimoun is a professor at ISAE-SUPAERO and Leader of the SSPA team. He is Co-Investigator of INSIGHT NASA Discovery mission and led the development of its main instrument (SEIS) in its early development phases. He is also a collaborator of the Mars 2020 rover and leads the development of the Mars microphone project associated to SuperCam instrument onboard Mars 2020 project. He is the PI of EntrySat, the first Cubesat of ISAE-SUPAERO, and leads the development of infrasound sensors for Venus balloon platforms, in collaboration with Caltech and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He graduated from SUPAERO, worked for major space companies and then at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) before joining ISAE-SUPAERO as a professor.
