Dario Modenini

Dario Modenini is a junior Assistant Professor in Astronautics & Space Systems at the University of Bologna in Forlì. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Sciences from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of the University of Bologna in 2011. Since 2005 he was involved in the ALMASat-1 microsatellite project at the University of Bologna and in related space microsystems activities. More recently, under funding of the European Space Agency (ESA), he has been involved in studies in the field of (a) Innovative planetary landing systems (b) Radio tracking of landed spacecraft (c) a CubeSat to be part of the CubeSat Opportunity Payload onboard the Asteroid Impact Mission.
